John Brooks was highlighted in a recent newspaper article about the mapping of surficial glacial deposits in New Hampshire under the NH/USGS Cooperative Mapping Program. To date, EGGI scientists (John Brooks, Ph.D. and Dan Tinkham) have developed eight surficial geologic maps, which have provided valuable insights into the geologic history and hydrogeologic characteristics of sand and gravel deposits throughout the New Hampshire's Lakes Region.
